ITR Japan, better known in Japan as the Biological and Zoological Research Center (BoZo), has provided pre-clinical toxicology and safety services since 1972. Currently, ITR Japan is one of the largest pre-clinical CROs in Japan, headquartered in Tokyo and with laboratories in Kannami, Gotemba and Tsukuba.

ITR Canada was established in 1989 to offer safety testing services to the companies and organizations developing therapeutic biotechnology and pharmaceutical products in North America. During the last nearly 20 years ITR Canada has built a reputation for infusion toxicology testing by providing access to specialized testing services.

In 2002, ITR Canada successfully launched inhalation services, which contributes to approximately 40% of our service stream. ITR Canada and ITR Japan collaborate scientifically and offer cultural exchanges and training programs for our staff.

A facility located in Hanzhou City in the Zhejiang Province of China is the latest acquisition by ITR Global group. This facility will offer general toxicology and safety pharmacology services with a particular emphasis on primate research.
